Black Roots and Voices Expressed Festival, (BRAVE) is a joyful celebration of bold, brilliant artistry rooted in Black culture, featuring a vibrant mix of professional and community performances, hands-on workshops, and creative fun for all ages.

BRAVE is coming back to Bradford this October.
I've been fairly quiet about this while I've been getting everything organised behind the scenes, but I'm really pleased to finally start sharing BRAVE Presents 2026.

BRAVE Presents is a smaller, one-day version of BRAVE Festival.

We'll be bringing Black artists together at Bradford Arts Centre for an afternoon of dance, rap, music, storytelling, drumming and creativity, followed by live performances in the evening.

BRAVE stands for Black Roots And Voices Expressed.
It's proudly Black-led, it's taking place during Black History Month and everyone is welcome.
