A step back in time… 📸

On this day in May 1937, King George VI’s coronation.
The Lodge (then the Head Gardener’s House at Bowling Park) was dressed for the occasion, proudly decorated as the community came together to celebrate.

Nearly 90 years later, it’s still a place where people gather — just now over coffee and cake instead of coronation bunting 😊
