Summer Solstice

Sunday 21 June 2026 at the scenic Bolton Abbey on the evening of the longest day. All proceeds go to the local Manorlands Hospice.

The cost includes parking from 2.00pm, so people can make an afternoon of it before the run.

A huge shout-out from one of our participants for a young teenager named Maheen! She said she couldn’t have completed her run without Maheen’s encouragement.

Out on the course Maheen wasn't just motivating our runners but was cheering on everyone walking or jogging in the warm sunshine.

This is exactly what parkrun is all about: community, encouragement, and helping each other reach our goals!

Thank you Maheen and everyone else who cheered participants on today.

We are one. 🧡🌳
