This is tomorrow! Tickets will go off sale this evening so buy yourself one and save some money. It'll be £20 on the door. Bring some cash if you plan on paying on the door though.

Times are below. Sun will be out. Drinks provided by The Triangle. Plus the largest Wrong Speed Records merch stall known to man.

Here are the stage times for this Saturday's Wrong Speed Fest North:

6.00pm - Doors
6.30pm - The Breedling
7.15pm - Science Fiction
8.00pm - Blind Eye
8.45pm - Irked

Wrong Speed Records will also be selling these 2 releases exclusively at this event so if you want to grab one of the super limited cassettes then you better come on down.

Tickets are still on sale. It'll be more on the door - https://endlesshum.bigcartel.com/product/wrong-speed-fest-north-saturday-23rd-may-2026

Morning! Joe's done a new Wrong Speed Radio episode and its a loose Wrongspeedfest North Spesh with music from the bands playing in Shipley on Saturday *plus* tunes from the two exclusive tape releases you'll find on the merch table *plus* some classics from Kirkgate Centre gigs of years gone by (that Gnod tune never lets you down).

The eagle-eared will notice first public appearances for songs by The Breedling, Blind Eye (LP available Saturday ahead of time), AAA Gripper and USA Nails plus a sneaky recording of Science Fiction that Joe obtained by scaling the roof of the SF practice room and gently hanging his phone through the window.

Play loud, obviously...

See you Saturday! The Endless Hum for tickets!

Hey! We're back! It seems like most Endless Hum gigs have at least one Wrong Speed Records band on the bill, so we are very happy to announce the first ever Wrong Speed Fest North event.

A collaboration between Endless Hum and the UK’s finest label Wrong Speed Records, home to the likes of Hey Colossus, Irked, Enablers, Objections, Part Chimp and many more.

The line-up has been carefully selected by the label themselves and performances will take place at Kirkgate Community Centre, Shipley, Bradford on Saturday 23rd May.

We’ll also have live projections, merchandise, craft ale from the Triangle, food vendors and of course a Wrong Speed Records merch stall.

Tickets £15 (plus fees) - https://endlesshum.bigcartel.com/product/wrong-speed-fest-north-saturday-23rd-may-2026

The line-up:

Objections:

A ridiculously impressive trio featuring 2/3 of Bilge Pump and a Nape Neck. In fact, we love them so much we’ve put them on twice before. If you caught them at one of these shows, or listened to any of their recent radio sessions for all round good egg Marc Riley, you’ll know what to expect; noisy, rhythmically diverse yet danceable fun. Their debut album ‘Optimistic Sizing’ was one of the best records on 2024.

Irked:

Formed in 2022; IRKED quickly gained attention as veterans of the UK DIY scene. Scaring audiences into submission, IRKED are satisfying the demand for urgent, snarling, politically motivated punk – served up with a salty dose of humour and sass – think pi**ed off, but ready to party. Irked first played for us in 2024 at Northern Monk Refectory, as part of our patrons series of beers with the brewery so we are very pleased to bring them back to Bradford.

Lyrically covering personal politics, inner-circle politics, work politics, and class politics and set to the backdrop of thee finest Saints / Stiff Richards / Wipers-inspired rippers, IRKED’s debut album The Grievance is out on 1st May.

Blind Eye - Raging HC from Nottingham. Ex and current members of Bloody Head, Heresy, Dead In The Woods, Wolves! Of Greece (one of the greatest bands of all time*), Army Of Flying Robots. Fronted by the urgent vocals of Anmarie Spaziano. New album “Mistrust Your Nation” due on on WSR soon this year.

Science Fiction:

Brand new music from Nottingham/Ilkley/London/Shropshire. Featuring folks from Bob Tilton, Lords, Brown Owl, Wolves! Of Greece (still one of the greatest bands of all time*), Hey Colossus, Kogumaza. Triumphant, scratchy, weirdo (secretly goth) post-punk. Recorded music is on the way. Come hear it first at this show.

The Breedling:

The brain child of Chris Spalton; The Breedling takes an inquisitive, DIY approach and attitude to the way sounds are manipulated. His latest album on Wrong Speed Records takes primal noise music and mixes it with qualities of doom, drone and electronica.

Tickets £15 (plus fees) - https://endlesshum.bigcartel.com/product/wrong-speed-fest-north-saturday-23rd-may-2026

The event will start from 6pm and will end by 11pm in time for those reliant on public transport.

For those looking to stay over there are a couple of hotels within 5/10 minutes walking distance from the venue. Or you can hop on a short train ride to Bradford where there are even more hotels close by the train station.

Blind Eye Band have announced details on their new album on Wrong Speed Records. Come hear some of the new tracks in the flesh when they play Wrong Speed Fest North on 23rd May at Kirkgate Centre, Shipley, Bradford with Irked, Objections, Science Fiction and The Breedling.

Tickets: https://endlesshum.bigcartel.com/product/wrong-speed-fest-north-saturday-23rd-may-2026

Afternoon!
The sun is out! Time for a new release announcement and it’s a belter!

WSR084 is “Mistrust Your Nation”, the second album proper from Nottingham ragers BLIND EYE and the follow up to 2022's Decomposed (also on Wrong Speed, long sold-out) and 2019’s self-released demo.

Featuring ex and current members of Heresy, Bloody Head, Pitchshifter, Wolves Of Greece, Army Of Flying Robots (and way more) and taking inspiration from The Comes, Jerrys Kids, Aus-Rotten and Chaos UK, this album is a concise call to arms. Perfectly captured over a weekend towards the end of 2025 by Boulty at Stuck On A Name Studios, “Mistrust Your Nation” sees mid-tempo stompers mix with breakneck ragers, all pressed at 45rpm and sounding as hefty as if the band had set up for a gig in your front room.

Watch the video for “Blitz Can” over on the WSR YouTube:
https://youtu.be/y1VxblZdgo4?si=0IWCm9noxajN7CCQ

You’ll find “Blitz Can” on the usual streaming platforms too.

Limited edition LP or good old download. Pre-order from Friday May 1st via WSR Bandcamp. We’ll remind you, don’t worry. In shops June 5th via Cargo Distribution.

FFO: NØ MAN, Japanese HC, Poison Idea, Negative Approach, Black Sabbath, Discharge.

As a label we never tire of bands who have THAT THING. We struggle to describe it and to pin it down, but we know it and we feel it and we only deal with people who have it. When we put gigs on and Blind Eye share a bill with solo banjo player Jacken Elswyth (for example) the sound is clearly different, but the ethics are the same. We can see it and we can hear it and we hope you can too. We are a genre-free label. We are a label that deals only with righteous, inspiring people. Play this record loud. Let it help you through these hideous times
