Hey guys I know it has been a long time since we all gave our time and efforts for the Back to Youth Festival back in March , I just wanted to give you an update on what happened with the funds we raised , I have sent this message to the BTY group chat but also to your individual accounts for each band. So after the event I chatted to my friend Halyna who is based near Lviv , we helped her friends charity the previous year who were making sleeping bags for soldiers , this year many charities have ceased or been relocated due to bombings or war . So after numerous chats with Halyna we decided to look for a smaller project that would be overlooked by the bigger charity organisations . I also wanted our money to make an impact where we could see how it could really help rather than it going into massive pot of registered Charities…..and we ended up here , Halyna found through friends on social media a story of a young girl called Anhelina who was 5 year old , her father went to fight in the war and was killed earlier this year and after the news of his death reached home her mother also died from this traumatic news . Anhelina was left Orphaned and had to go live with her Grandmother . Our money has helped this little girl with equipment and clothes she needed for school , it also helped pay for her some bedding and washing powder for her Gramdma , thanks so much for your help I am so grateful for all your help in making this event happen. Back to Youth Band/Act applications are now live ,if You would like to be considered please Direct message us with you band/act name and link(s) to social media or places we can listen to you,
We were inundated last year so please get in early as we may have to close applications early , as it stands application Deadline will be 11.59pm 20th February , thanks for reading guys and feel free to share or pass on this info to any potentials who may not see the message m many thanks Rik

thanks to our good friends at Nightrain we have a big announcement , Back to Youth Festival UK will be back again this year. Aiming to make it bigger, better and even more successful than BTY22. To make this even better than last year we will need help , musicians, poets and people who just want to be parts of this including Ukrianians who want to be involved, more info will follow be please feel free to get in touch as the time is ticking already :) ☺️
