πŸƒπŸ»β€β™‚οΈThe Blair Castle Cross Country Challenge is back for its second year following a successful return last year after a 15 year hiatus!πŸƒπŸΌβ€β™€οΈ
The Challenge sees athletes running a 5km stretch of the Defender Blair Castle Horse Trials cross country course and, new for 2024, is the Blair Castle Cross Country Team Race open to teams of 4 athletes πŸƒπŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸƒπŸ»πŸƒπŸ»β€β™‚οΈπŸƒπŸ½β€β™€οΈ
(Runners may compete as both individuals and as a member of a team).
πŸ† With trophies – quaichs and prize money of Β£100 for the first placed athletes, Β£50 for the second and Β£25 for the third it’s well worth giving it a go AND there’s still plenty of time to train too!
This year’s race is supported by three wonderful local businesses, The Roundhouse, Cob Leather and Parc Royale πŸ™ŒπŸ»

We are thrilled to announce a new partnership and classes at this year's horse trials! Bogenraith Equestrian are bringing Arena Eventing back to Blair with an exciting blend of show jumping and cross-country.

We will be hosting 80cm, 90cm and 1m classes on Saturday 24th August. Stay tuned for more details!

Aaron Millar and Bella Innes Ker (pictured) were the winners of the Hi Ho Silver sponsored first horse inspections. The judging panel consisted of Andrew Ransford for Hi Ho, Debbie Lee for Defender and radio presenter Claire Kinnaird.
