We've learned today of the sad passing of Gareth (aka Forster).
A talented and frequent supporter of BOM and other local open mics. He will be missed.

Our thoughts go out to his husband Mark.

We had hoped to bring you Bracknell Open Mic from South Hill Park next year but unfortunately last minute contractual requirements like the need for us to have public liability insurance made the whole undertaking too expensive and too difficult. We're still looking for a suitable venue that is not a pub so we'll keep you posted if anything turns up

In the meantime we would like to wish you all a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year. Thanks for keeping music live and here's to even more in 2026. Very best regards, Pete and Val.

Well our penultimate Open Mic was again amazing!
Sad to say goodbye to Seb and Owen who have been inspirational and produced some wonderful originals for the night.
Our final one next month is going to be emotional for sure.
