First of all a huge thankyou to all who joined us today for the first ever Littledown Half Marathon after a 2 year delay & the return of the Littledown Marathon

Good evening Ladies & Gents

Thankyou all for signing up its very much appreciated

Final race instructions are as follows

Access to the changing facilities for participants – they can access the far gate at reception, which will be left open for you
Race start 10 am
Race Brief 9.50-55
Free parking
Race registration/Number pick up from the cricket pavilion
Toilet block by pavilion will be open throughout the day for participants and spectators alike
Aid station will have water, sweets, crisps etc...... Please feel free to bring anything you require that we may not be able to provide, this can be left on the aid station as well
Follow the painted white line its marked as a 1 mile loop (some watches may have differnt readings, its been wheel measured)
Be respectful when overtaking its a run for everyone
When you arrive the cricket pavilion is situated at the far end of the car park by the 5 a side football pitches, this is where the numbers shall be collected from.

26 laps for full marathon

13 for Half marathon

Entries are now closed for this event.... However i will still accept on the day entries although that will be cash only as dont have the facilities for card.

Final instructions will be emailed out tonight amd once done will also put them on the page as well.

Good evening Ladies & Gents

Thankyou all for those who have currently signed up its been much appreciated.

Still Plenty of time to carry on those miles and come and join us on the 12th June 2022 after a few tough years it would be great to see you all.

With generous cut off times its great for everyone, those doing there first or those like the Great Steve Edwards who again will be joining us for this event.

A big thankyou to all who have currently signed up its really appreciated.

There is now just over 1 month to go until the big day itself, and I for one am really looking forward to seeing everyone after a long break due to the restrictions of said virus.....

If your a 1st timer or seasoned marathon runner Littledown really is for everyone.

Big thanks to all those who have currently signed up, im really looking forward to a great day after a 2 year pause for obvious reasons

For thoese who haven't yet signed up, its a great way to keep motivated and work towards a goal.

Good evening ladies and gents hope everyone is having a great Easter Bank Holiday, maybe you have been on training long runs, why not put them to good use and motivation for the Littledown Marathon and half.

A great race and all inclusive from first timers at these distances to thoes in the 100 club, each is a fantastic achievement in itself.

As a runner myself i will be on the sidelines supporting you all the way.

Littledown is enclosed park in nice surroundings, support and aid each lap should it be needed as well.

Lots for the family friends and supporters to enjoy with bar/cafe onsite and a play park for the kids its got a real family feel to it.

So why not come and join us this June 12th and enjoy the day.

Good afternoon ladies and gents

Just spent a fun few days away in Manchester running the marathon and it occoured to me on route how when you struggle the crowds get you through, thats why i look forward to events like this

Aid every mile which would have been very handy for me.

Support throughout every lap, which is vital in the later stages.

And like Manchester a friendly approach and apmsophere.

Weather its your first marathon or like some who are joining us with 500+ under there belt its a great way to join a unique club.

A coach once told me anyone who runs a marathon is in a group of only 1% of the population to have ever done this, now that i find pretty cool

So come and join us on the 12th June 2022 and join that club

Really looking forward to hosting this event again after the 2 torrid years for us all, it will be amazing to be back. And on the 12th June 2022 we will be.

Still plenty of time to train up and achieve your goals, with no particular time pressure its great if your taking the plunge and trying a new distance, either way your going to be a winner.
