Run the Claydons

Run the Claydons Run the Claydons is a 8 mile multi terrain run, being organised to raise funds for Friends of RLS It was founded by the Friends of Bourton Meadow in 2015.

"Run the Claydons" is a 7 mile multi terrain run being organised in 2018 by the Friends of the Royal Latin School. Thanks to the Claydon Estate and the Verney family most of the route will be over estate land, but you will also pass through Middle, East & Botolph Claydons. UKA licence number : 2021-42083

From 2018 the start/finish will be in East Claydon and registration will be in the East/Botol

ph Claydon village hall. Only 300 spaces will be available, so please keep checking back regularly

We also have a junior (Under 16) 2 mile race, and an under 12 1 mile race starting after the main event.

Happy Easter!

Here at the Buckingham Half Marathon we are pleased to announce that we are introducing a kids race this year!

Save the date Sunday 12th May 10am start – register 9:30-9:45am.

We will have 2 options:

For 4-6 year olds the mini mile race will be just under half a mile!
For 6-14 year olds the race will be 1km! If anyone under 6 wishes to take part as they can the distance then they are more than welcome.

Medals for all runners!!!

Entries are £2.50 cash or card on the day.

Come to the Half Marathon race start at Maids Moreton playing fields between 9:30-9:45am to register.

Arrive just before 9:30am and you can see the start of the half marathon for inspiration!

Please do not attempt to drive into the playing fields or park anywhere in Maids Moreton – parking is at the Rugby Club.

Entries are still open for the Half Marathon with 6 weeks to go.

NEW ENTRY FORM FOR 2024 NOW AVAILABLE !

Hope you're all starting to hit the roads training for this fun event in aid of the School PTFA. The organisation is in full swing and we're hoping for more entries than ever this year, encouraged by better weather than in 2023... couldn't have been much worse!!

The new design 2024 entry form is below. It can be used for postal as well as online entries. Simply print it out and follow the instructions at the bottom about what to do in each case. But beware - not following the instructions carefully could mean you miss out on the fun, so check everything twice before sending your entry in... and don't forget your payment!

PLEASE NOTE: The one on the back of Focus is not clear on the entry fees - please use the corrected one below where-ever possible. Entries using the Focus form will still be accepted, but just make sure you pay the right amount!
