On Friday I chatted to lots of Grace Petrie fans about the next sessions coming to the wonderful venue that is St Petroc's. So here is a reminder and some insider info........

Katherine Priddy on the 13th Dec will fall at the same time as the Christmas Tree festival, which adds an extra layer of magic to an already pretty special event.
This doesn't happen every year; the last time was in 2024 with The Unthanks, but if it does then you'd be a fool to miss out.

You can listen to Katherine surrounded by over 60 Christmas Trees twinkling away. Each one represents a community group, school, organisation or club that shares it's home in Bodmin and values the heritage St Petroc's affords us.
You can't get more special than that.

"Hope is the most powerful piece of resistance we have right now." This is my takeaway from last night's stirring and inspiring St Petroc's gig from Grace Petrie.

There are some tickets left for tonight at Exeter Phoenix and we can't recommend highly enough!

We had so many lovely conversations with the crowd who had travelled from all over the country through wind and rain to support Grace.

"My heart feels warmed" just one of the glowing reviews we heard as we wished people safe travels home.

We hope you'll be back Grace 😁

For a decade and a half, Grace Petrie has been one of the UK’s most urgent and passionate songwriters. Coming of age amidst the coalition government, her politically charged folk music quickly gained national attention and propelled her to the main stages of folk festivals from Cambridge to Vancouver to the Blue Mountains of Australia.

Characterised by razor-sharp lyricism and the unmistakable passion of her stage presence, her live shows have become synonymous for fans with a unique atmosphere of hope and solidarity, while the anthem Black Tie has racked up 1.5 million streams and provided the soundtrack of expression for young people all over the world.

This is perfect for anyone looking for a magical experience set in a wonderfully atmospheric venue. When you arrive you will be given a headset to wear while you wonder in and around the shadows. Give yourselves approx 40 mins to fully take it all in.

Last night Rob, Arlo Anwin and Christian spent time inside St Petroc’s, beginning to release some of the myths onto the surfaces of the church. Across stone, around pillars, into spaces the myths have never reached before.

It was a night of testing, discovering and letting light find its way through the world of Shadow Lounge: The Re-awakening.

If you’ve journeyed amongst these myths before, something new is waiting for you.

If this is your first time entering the shadows, there is a whole otherworld waiting to be discovered.
