introducing our 2nd battle judge BBOY SEEK!

B-Boy Seek hails from Burnley, Lancashire. In 1997 he created a crew called Tron 2 with B-Boy Mouse, B-Boy Abz and B-Boy Dinky. This crew would earn a reputation that registered on London’s radar and soon after they would be invited south to battle crews such as Foundationz, La Familia, and FloorScience at Skeg’s legendary BreakinBread night. Seek and Mouse were then recruited by a larger crew called Children of the Monkey Basket (COTMB) This team was 4 crews together as one: Bad Taste Cru, Chunks of Fun(k) Mystery Machines and Tron 2. As part of COTMB Seek went on to win 3 UK Titles. Those titles were the Battle of Britain twice and Urban Games 2001. Urban Games was the qualifier for the world finals at the Brixton Academy called the UK B-Boy Championships. Seek battled at the world final and for approximately another 6 years COTMB won most domestic comps they entered and were a dominant crew on the scene. They were acknowledged in Second To Nones B-Boy Mercenaries documentary as one of the front running crews of that era. Seek travelled all over the world as a Bboy battling in many countries, even making it out to Freestyle Session in Los Angeles. Seek has also performed in various music videos and qualified to be a featured dancer at the Commonwealth Games opening ceremony in 2002. His history in BBoying is trackable back to 96 when he first started making waves in the scene.

2 Times World Champion, DJ Woody is one of the UK’s most influential scratch DJ's. Known for his
innovations, he helped design the Worlds first ever musical turntable instrument (Vestax Controller
One) and is famed as a prolific pioneer of new scratch techniques. His musical approach to the turntable
and has led to recordings for labels including NinjaTunes, BBE, Universal, and Tokyo Dawn with artists
as diverse as UK rap legends Blade and Gunshot to DJ Yoda and Jamie Cullum.
As a performer highlights include being the tour DJ for Grammy winning hip hop star Mala Rodriguez,
support DJ for Hacienda Classical, writing scratch music for a 25 piece big band jazz orchestra, being a
band member of DJ Vadim’s Russian Percussian and One Self and taking his groundbreaking
audio-visual story telling to the Edinburgh Festival in his collaboration with acclaimed UK beatboxer/rap-
per/actor Testament. His DJ sets have taken him around the World to over 50 countries, performing every-
where from The Nokia Theatre in Time Square New York to the Royal Albert Hall in London. An avid
lover of vinyl, Woody is a member of the World renowned DJ crew ’45 Live’ alongside the likes of DJ
Format, Mr Thing, DJ Food (Ninjatune), Andy Smith (Portishead), Ollie Teeba (Herbaliser) and Jon More
(Coldcut).
As a producer Woody released his debut solo LP 'The Point Of Contact’ in 2016, featuring some of the
UK's finest musical talent including Christian Madden (Liam Gallagher), Carl Sharrocks (808 State),
Matthew Halsall (Gondwana Records) and Nick Blacka (Gogo Penguin). A year later in collaboration with
Bristolian DJ and producer Boca 45, he released the album ‘Carousel’ under the BocaWoody moniker,
recieving radio support from Craig Charles, Huey Morgan and Steve Lamacq and was licensed for US hit
comedy ‘The Last OG’ and HBO’s 2023 Scooby-Doo spin off ‘Velma’.
2025 marks the 20th year of Woody’s record label Woodwurk Records and with a full release schedule,
DJ tours and some interesting curveball collaborations planned, it promises to be another eventful year

Introducing our judges this year!

Bboy Remarkable was born in 1981 in Liverpool, coming from very humble beginnings. He was inspired to get into Breakin by his older cousin, to whom he owes it all, as well as his mum, who supported his passion. He began his Breakin journey in 1997 at age 15.

He was a proud crew member of Always Rockin Tuff and the world-famous Rock Steady Crew, UK Chapter, from 2000 to 2005, as well as UK AllStarz and Hard Kno### Cru. Throughout his career, he has competed on the global stage at events such as UK Bboy Champs (1999, 2002, 2004), Bboy World Cup 2021 in Paris, and Freestyles Session 2007 in Los Angeles, California.

Having been mentored by the great Tuf Tim Twist, he learned from one of the best in the game.

As a mentor, he has guided talents like Brian Rose from “London Real” and appeared as a guest on The Real Housewives of Cheshire in 2017. He has taught countless Breakin workshops across the UK and is a UK 2VS Champion alongside his highly respected brother, LL Fle###.

Dancing has been a transformative force in his life: “Dancing saved my life. It came to me when I needed it most. It allows me to express myself, connect with music, others, the universe, and God.”
