Our Christmas Tree is all set up for the Christmas Tree Festival this weekend! This year we have chosen a community and heritage theme starring one of Blackpool's favourite duos, Morecambe and Wise. Do you know an individual or group in Blackpool, Wyre or Fylde that deserve recognition for their volunteer work? Nominate them for one of our Big Thank You volunteer awards. Individual categories include Children and Families, Heritage, Environment and the Arts and Support for older people, plus many more.

Volunteer Centre BWF will be open next week on Monday 21st and Tuesday 22nd, closing for Christmas at 1pm on Wednesday 23rd. We will re open on Monday 4th January 2016.
We would like to wish all our volunteers, followers and staff a very merry Christmas and a happy new year!

While out Christmas shopping, why not pick up an extra gift for a local child that won't have any presents to open this Christmas. It is the last few days to take part in Rock FM's Mission Christmas. If you are local to Stanley Park, the Volunteer Centre is a registered drop off point for donations gifts.

Please ensure your gift is new, unwrapped and suitable for a child/young person between 0 and 18. Thank you!

Blackpool's Treasure Trove is a HLF and Blackpool Council funded project that forms part of our heritage programme. Drop in at the Winter Gardens tomorrow 12 - 2pm to see the work that has been achieved over the last 2 years by local community groups. A one day only event!
