The more votes we get, the more chance Blackburn council should acknowledge our emails and continue to support us with future events.
Firstly we would like to apologise to everyone for not getting back regarding future events at Witton Park. The reason behind this is we have been struggling to get any answers from Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council which has left us with no choice but to get the people of Blackburn behind us.
Restricted Events Ltd started from a local Father & Son Business Idea 8 years ago to give the people of Blackburn something to look forward to which turned in to something very special.
Since covid the hospitality industry has struggled and more festival continue to fall due to the huge increase of infrastructure costs, events and festivals struggle to breakeven.
All we want from the council is a YES and the support from the ESAG (Events Safety Advisory Group) and we will do all the financial risk and hard work in putting on more incredible shows for Blackburn.
We don’t want to look for a new venue or town so support us by voting YES and have something to look forward to for 2025.
We thank each and everyone who supported us for all these years and continue to do so. We won’t give up if you don’t and with your vote we could keep these local events going.
