Join us for a truly collaborative sharing event. Art SPACE is a place to share/ socialise, participate/perform, appreciate, collaborate/ create, exhibit and express! Open to all creatives of any age and ability- this is a non judgmental platform for sharing of work, discussion, inspirations, networking, collaboration and social connection with other creatives. All submissions are welcome- whether
you are already successful or whether it is your first attempt at something - you may be 5, 25,55,95 - all ages are welcome. This is a grassroots, bring what you would like to find, get out what you put in , community collective type of event. It would be lovely if you want to come along and be involved. You don't have to contribute anything other than your presence- unless of course you want to! We run on a donations policy- this is not an audience focused event- performances and pieces don't need to be polished- this is a chance to try stuff out whether you are sharing new work in an established practice, or it is your very first time at something here is a friendly and open space to share. You are also welcome to just come along and appreciate other people's work- sharing is not compulsory! We are trying a new format with being an online event so there are many ways you can participate. Running order:
6.50pm doors open- see what events The Bureau has coming up and say hi and settle in.
7pm - Intro and Welcome
7.05pm ArtSPACE Gallery- a slideshow of work submitted. Please send any work for the slideshow in advance to [email protected] up to 10 pieces accepted per artist. We are also open to musical submissions to accompany the gallery.
7.10pm Breakout rooms
A chance to have an in depth but informal chat with other like minded people about a topic of your choice from our evening's menu. Whether discussing an upcoming project, the reasons behind why we do what we do, new ways of sharing work online, tips and tricks, a quick creative activity or getting some help and support from others this is a chance to join a conversation to stimulate your mind and inspire! You will also be able to move freely between rooms so if you fancy switching conversation or saying hello elsewhere then that's fine :-)

7.25pm Reconvene in the main space
If anyone wants to share the outcomes of their discussions here's a chance to let the other rooms know what went on.
7.30pm ArtSPACE cafe with Cath opens- seen someone you want to chat more with? Don't fancy the main programme but don't want to be rude? You can hang out in the cafe breakout room with Cath and chat to your heart's content until 9pm. Featured Artist/performer talk/ demo/ studio tour/ showcase. Each month we will have a featured artist or performer who is in the spotlight, with a longer opportunity to share their work and have a Q and A about their practice. Would you like to be a featured artist? Contact [email protected]

Sharing spots/ open mic. This is your chance to share something creative! A film, a song, spoken word performance, a slideshow of images, a reading of work, music- anything you have created and would like to share- finished or work in progress, shared before or first time- all is equal on the ArtSPACE stage! There will be time for feedback or questions if you like from other participants. Slots from 2-15 minutes are available. Please contact [email protected] to book a slot. You will need to indicate how long you need, if you want feedback/ chat time and if you need to be able to screenshare/ send in images/ videos in advance.
