Bishop's Stortford Running Club Bishop's Stortford Running Club - club of approx. 250 members supporting road running, off-road running and triathlon. UK Athletics and BTF affiliated.

Bishop’s Stortford Running Club is a running club for all abilities. We are focused on having fun while running both on road and off-road, over all distances. We also have a multisport section, under the name of Stortford Tri, supporting triathlon, cycling, swimming, adventure racing, etc. The Club operates from a club house on the outskirts of Bishop’s Stortford giving good access to a range of r

unning routes on road and across fields towards Hatfield Forest. Formed in 1983, and with a current membership around 250, we aim to cater for all runners – from fun runners through to potential elite runners. Main Club night is Wednesday, when people run in informal groups and can stay around at the Club house afterwards to socialise over a meal and a drink. Our squad of run coaches provide regular coached sessions on Tues and Sat for those looking for more structured training; and Stortford Tri provide swimming and cycling sessions open to all members.

A massive well done to everyone who ran at the Hatfield Broad Oak 10k. The heat definitely made it a tough one, but there were some incredible runs and determined performances across the board 👏

What a way to open the midweek league season 🎉🎉

Provisional results from last night’s race hosted by Dacorum AC see Team Green & Gold setting the bar high right from the start, with Mark Spiller leading home a crowd of men from 5th place and Alex Cross as our 1st lady, finishing as 2nd lady overall.

A brilliant turnout for our Thursday night trip to Hemel Hempstead, and an even better team performance across the board. From front runners to every single point scorer and every other runner, this was a proper club effort and one we should all be proud of.
