This week, we're celebrating our Archers — the incredible people who volunteer to make Kynren possible.

Every year, more than 1,000 volunteers come together to create something truly extraordinary. From performers and animal handlers to costume makers, technicians, front-of-house and backstage teams, our volunteers dedicate their time, talent and passion to bringing history to life on an epic scale.

This Sunday, we'll be showing our appreciation with a special volunteer picnic as we celebrate everything our volunteers do for us throughout the year.

The soundtrack to Kynren – The Storied Lands is coming to life.

The world-renowned BBC Concert Orchestra recorded original music specially composed for two of the spectacular new live-action shows - Legend of the Wear and The Lost Feather.

From soaring moments of flight to epic tales of myth and legend, the music forms an integral part of both live shows, helping to bring every moment to life through emotion, drama and cinematic storytelling.

Recorded at the legendary Maida Vale Studios in London, this extraordinary soundtrack will soon be heard as part of the Kynren – The Storied Lands experience when the new day park opens on 18 July!

Our talented stunt performers have now arrived in Bishop Auckland and are beginning the challenge of learning the spectacular live-action shows that will bring the day park to life this summer. From thrilling action sequences to unforgettable storytelling, weeks of intensive rehearsals now lie ahead as they prepare to step into their roles for:

This weekend, the Kynren Archers — the incredible 1,000 volunteers who bring our award-winning night show to life — returned for another weekend of outdoor rehearsals.

In 2026, we've welcomed lots of brand-new Archers to the Kynren family, and its great to see them taking to the stage (or shining behind the scenes) as every element starts to come together.

A huge milestone reached at Kynren – The Storied Lands 🦅

Yesterday, the final signed timber was lifted into place atop The Lost Feather arena, completing the extraordinary eagle nest-inspired roof structure ahead of opening on 18th July.

Project teams, creatives and members of the bird, education and conservation team came together for the topping out ceremony, with invited media and guests treated to an early glimpse of the experience featuring free-flying birds including black kites, macaws and a Verreaux’s eagle owl.

The Lost Feather is set to become one of the standout experiences within the UK’s first live action show park this summer — and tickets are on sale now.
