Now on sale: Tchaikovsky Classics with Birmingham Royal Ballet and the Royal Ballet Sinfonia!

We’re excited to return to Symphony Hall on Saturday 6 March 2027 with Tchaikovsky Classics.

A celebration of the music of the legendary Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, composer of the glorious scores for The Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake and The Nutcracker - the jewels of ballet's classical repertory.

Our world-class dancers will perform: from Swan Lake, the romantic ‘white swan’ pas de deux’, Cygnets pas de quatre from Act II and the breathtaking ‘black swan’ pas de deux from Act III, including the famous 32 fouettés; from The Sleeping Beauty, the heart-stopping, bravura pas de deux for the Bluebird and Princess Florine from Act IVl; and from The Nutcracker, the beautiful grand pas de deux of the Prince and the Sugar Plum Fairy.

Birmingham is our stage. ❤️

From the canals to the Bullring, the Library of Birmingham to Digbeth - ballet belongs here, in the heart of this city and among the people who make it what it is.

Our 'Our City, Your Ballet' campaign celebrates the places, stories and spirit that shape us as Birmingham Royal Ballet. These new images, captured by photographer Clive Booth, bring together the power of dance with the character of the city we’re proud to call home.

Because your ballet isn’t distant. It isn’t reserved for somebody else. It’s bold, modern, emotional, surprising and proudly Brummie.

Thank you to everyone who’s supported and shared the campaign so far. We can’t wait to welcome even more of you into our world.

Our city, your ballet.
