🚴‍♂️ 500km. Two powerful causes. One unshakable purpose.

This September, before the doors open at EiLive! 2025, Ben Davies — Director of Inspire AV, SSUMedia, and founder of Smart Homee — will complete a 500km bike and run challenge from York to Brighton.

He’s doing it to raise £5,000 for two charities that mean the world to him — and to many in our industry:

🎗️ Together For Cinema – the smart home industry’s own charity, creating cinema rooms in UK children’s hospices.
🎗️ The Charlie Dallas Lancaster Foundation (CDLF) – set up in memory of Charlie Dallas Lancaster after his tragic passing, to support mental health services and su***de prevention.

“We provide grants to help organisations deliver direct support to those in need — continuing the work Charlie dedicated his life to.”

Once Ben crosses the finish line, he’ll head straight to Farnborough Exhibition Centre — where, in true high-energy Ben style, he’ll jump in front of the camera with the SSUMedia team to interview brands, exhibitors, and attendees across the show floor. Expect laughs, insight, and plenty of behind-the-scenes action from the people who make EiLive! what it is.
