2025 Shambala Festival Poetry Slam Champion and Nottingham Black Creatives Network founder , who blends neo-soul, jazz, and poetry into powerful storytelling, will be this year’s Vocal Performance Mentor for Community Routes this August.

Davina is a celebrated East Midlands singer-songwriter, published author, and spoken-word artist. Deeply invested in nurturing the next generation, she mentors for Sing City at Nottingham Music Service and leads wellbeing-focused workshops designed to build confidence, resilience, and song writing skills in young creatives. Her holistic approach to music and performance focuses on empowering artists to find their authentic voice both on and off the stage.

Jasmine is a powerhouse broadcaster, currently hosting BBC Introducing and the Official British Asian Music Chart on BBC Asian Network, where she consistently champions emerging and independent UK artists. Her career began on Nottingham’s Kemet FM before she moved to Westside Radio in London. Since then, she has become a staple at major music events, hosting stages and conducting high-profile interviews at both Glastonbury and SXSW.
