3. To receive and approve a report from the Committee on the affairs of the Club since the previous Annual General Meeting
4. To receive and approve a Financial Statement for the preceding financial year
5. To elect Officers for the season 2026/2027 (Rule 9.3 & Rule 14.1)
6. To elect members of The Committee for the season 2026/2027 (Rule 9.4 & Rule 15.1.2)
7. Any Other Business at the discretion of the Chairman
8. Date of the next Annual General Meeting

NOTICE OF THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF BOURNVILLE RUGBY FOOTBALL CLUB LIMITED

In accordance with Rule 9 of the Rules of Bournville Rugby Football Club Limited, registered under the Cooperative and Community Benefit Societies Act 2014, I hereby give notice of the Annual General Meeting to be held on Tuesday, 30th June 2026 at Avery Fields Sports & Events, 79 Sandon Road, Birmingham B17 8DT. The meeting will commence at 7.00pm.

Subject to compliance with Rule 6, Members will be eligible to vote at the Annual General Meeting in Accordance with Rule 9.

FINAL GAME OF THE SEASON FOR THE GOLDS

Come and join us for our final fixture of the season, at home against . Due to a previous cancellation the two teams are yet to face eachother, but West Bridgford's position at second in the league means this will be a challenging match.

We have seen our Golds work together well under pressure, with unmatched back speed and team spirit, so watch this space 💛

Nothing beats the atmosphere here at Avery Fields.

A massive thank you to the Bournville faithful who stood by us all season, whether you were cheering from the touchline or packed onto the balcony. You are the heartbeat of this club, and your support makes every hard shift on that pitch worth it.

We still have one last bit of rugby action before the summer break! Our Women’s 1XV take to the pitch tomorrow for their final home game of the season. Let’s get one more big crowd down to Avery Fields to cheer them on! 💛🍫

We’re already counting down the days until the new season, but for now, rest up and enjoy the summer.

The arrangements for the celebration day of Jon “Booter” Hillier are as follows…

The service is at 2.30 pm on Friday 22 nd May at Waseley Hills crematorium. The address is New Inns Lane, Rubery, B45 9TS. Club colours or club ties can be worn.
Rachel has requested family flowers only please, but would love you to consider making a donation to pancreatic cancer research, which can be given on the day, or a QR code will be on the order of service if you would like to donate in memory of Jon (Booter).

The wake will take place at his club, Bournville Rugby Club at Avery Fields, Sandon Road, Edgbaston B17 8DT.
Food and refreshments are provided. Everyone is invited to come and share their stories and celebrate the life of Jon.

As the season winds down, the sun comes out & Summer Touch becomes our weekly go to!

Looking for a new way to stay active and socialise this summer? Our Mixed Summer Touch kicks off on Tuesday, 12th May, and we want YOU on the pitch!

It doesn’t matter if you’ve played for years or have never even touched a rugby ball—we’re all about inclusive, high-energy fun for everyone (17+).

The Game Plan:
🏃‍♂️ 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM: Get a sweat on, learn some skills, and have a laugh.
🍻 8:00 PM onwards: Head straight to the clubhouse to cool down with a well-earned drink!

It’s the perfect mix of fitness and socialising. No pressure, just good vibes and great teamwork.
