Hi, Due to unforeseen circumstances and restrictions placed on the canal and enforced by the Police for the Conservative party conference we have got no alternative but to postpone the Boat festival until Spring time.

The good news is that the festival will still be being held and it will be bigger and better then originally planned with more boats and entertainment for you all to enjoy.

We will update you when a time and date as been agreed.

We are truly sorry for any inconvenience that this has caused.

Regards
Paul

We know it's a short notice but we have been given permission to put on a boat festival in the iconic Brindley Place Birmingham to celebrate the anniversary of James Brindley and to raise awareness for our canal network. There will be a host of activities for the whole family to enjoy. There will be historic narrowboats, canal roving traders selling their goods and services, working narrowboats, narrowboat trips, you will get to meet and talk to people who live and work on the canal system. On the land there will be an artisan market, There will be food and drink supplied by some of Birminghams best street food caters and to top it off there will be two days of live music on the main stage in Central Square Brindley place from some of the Midlands leading musicians and artists.
We would love to see you there!
