Signing Tree Venue We offer a number of meeting spaces for up to 120 guests and a range of day delegate packages and catering to suit all budgets.

Located close to Birmingham city centre, we offer all the facilities you would expect from a high quality conference venue. The Signing Tree Conference Centre is part of BID Services, a charity that supports deaf, deafened and hard of hearing people. The Centre operates as a social enterprise and offers contemporary, bright and spacious conference facilities.

We obviously hope there is never a need to use a defibrillator during your visit, but we just wanted to make you aware that this lifesaving piece of equipment is located on the outside of our building!

We have many members of staff who have been trained to use this and are grateful to British Heart Foundation for awarding this to our venue 💜

A little while ago, the BID Services team created new signage and displays that celebrate the history of the charity, the incredible people behind our room names, and the communities who continue to shape this space 💙

The Deaf Cultural Centre remains a vibrant meeting hub for local Deaf communities, hosting Friday Community Days, social evenings and family-friendly events, and with the Signing Tree Venue providing an essential source of income (thanks to your bookings!), they're able to keep many of these activities low‑cost or free for those who attend.

This is just the start of showcasing how BID Services and STV work together to break down barriers and create equal access to opportunities for people who are deaf, hard of hearing, sight impaired, deafblind or living with other disabilities.
