Hey everyone! This saturday the Mac will be hosting China Plate's "First Bite" festival which will showcase commissioned up and coming theatre from Midlands artists.
One of our 3rd year AP's, Maisarra Hak will be presenting her own work-in-progress piece, with 3 other AP students (Hayley Garraway, Priscilla Dapaah-Boateng and Ayeiisha Starlett Siniara).
Her R&D piece is called "Hidden In Plain Sight" which explores real accounts of immigrants in the UK and is also inspired by her own story as an immigrant. This is a really exciting opportunity to see some new and political work, devised, directed and performed by an all BAME creative team. It's also a great chance to get a taste of some of the work which develops from the AP course 🙂

The festival is this saturday at 7.30pm, and is £5, just click the link for tickets.
Don't miss out!

Welcome to Midlands Arts Centre. We offer a busy programme of theatre, dance, cinema, music, spoken word, comedy, exhibitions, special events, and courses.
