Wolverhampton Country Songwriters Night

Wolverhampton Country Songwriters Night A night of original music featuring singer songwriters from across the world. What happens on the night? What music is played?

It all started with a conversation between Jim Duncan and Emma Swindells when Emma was invited onto Jim's radio show (WCRfm) after performing at Country 2 Country 2015. usiasm for modern Country music the Wolverhampton Country Night was born. Thanks to the support of Wolverhampton Civic, we are based at the wonderfully converted tractor shed at Bantock Park, Wolverhampton. Each monthly session offers 4 Acts for £5 with a licenced bar and a free car park. The atmosphere is always relaxed and intimate with artists frequently commenting on the warmth and enthusiasm of the audience. We are passionate about country music, but acoustic and folk singer-songwriters are also welcome. If you would like to play, please see the website: www.wolvescountry.com

Four years ago, Jim Duncan and Emma Swindells sought to provide a platform for Country music in Wolverhampton and the monthly Country Night sessions were launched. What fun we’ve had since then!
Sadly, all good things must come to an end and the time has come to bring Wolverhampton Country Night in its’ present format to a close.
We have loved sharing the amazing talent that has graced our evenings and send a sincere thank you to all the artists who have performed for us. You’ve been amazing!
A sincere thank you is also extended to our loyal supporters, some of whom have attended our events from our very first session. Cheers to you all and thanks for the good times shared!
Best wishes from all the team 🤠 🍻
