🏆 The Kent Charity Awards! 🏆

The KCAS team, who provide us with huge support at Biddenden Tractorfest, were selected as finalists in the Animal & Environment Charity category of the Kent Charity Awards again this year.

We are delighted to share that the Kent County Agricultural Society were named the winners of the category! 🏆🎉

We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate them on their well-deserved success and thank them for all the hard work they put into their charitable activities.

The final thank yous today are for the landowners who allow us to use their fields to host Biddenden Tractorfest, our amazing event organiser Lucy, and the wonderful committee who are Biddenden Tractorfest 🚜

A huge thank you to our landowners for allowing us to take over their fields each year and transform them into a bustling and beautiful place to be.

Without their generous contribution and the opening up of their land, there simply would be no show. Thank you for your continued hospitality and for allowing us to bring Tractorfest to life year after year.

Lucy — the backbone and brains of Biddenden Tractorfest.

Without your support, hard work and dedication, the show simply would not be what it is. We could not do it without you.

The final post-show site checks have now been completed, ensuring that all signage and litter have been removed and the fields have been returned to their usual residents in spotless condition.

A huge thank you to Emma and her team at The Bakehouse for walking every inch of the site and making sure the fields were left looking perfect.

Today, we want to say a huge thank you to our wonderful commentators, volunteers and KCAS – Kent County Agricultural Society. Kent County Show

Our commentators are like walking encyclopaedias in their fields, giving our visitors an incredible experience by sharing their knowledge and experience, while keeping everyone entertained along the way.

From fencing and signage, scanning tickets and helping with tractor and trailer rides, to chatting with visitors and assisting sections with arena management — you are always there when we need you.

This morning, we want to take a moment to recognise the people whose hard work often happens behind the scenes and can easily go unnoticed.
A huge thank you to our contractors and suppliers.

From electric, WiFi and security to traffic management, fencing, seating, marquees, toilets, water and bins. Signage, gators and straw bales, litter picking, radios, cash machines and PA systems. And to our trophy providers and wristband and exhibitor mug producers — every single one of you plays a vital part in making the show happen.

The show simply cannot run without your assistance, expertise and hard work.

Many of you are here early, stay late and work tirelessly in the background to make sure everything is ready, safe, organised and running smoothly.

So, from all of us, thank you. You are hugely appreciated.

A huge thank you to Revive Medical Solutions for their incredible support and care at Biddenden Tractorfest last weekend. We really appreciate your dedication and professionalism in helping keep everyone safe and well.

Today’s thank you goes to G1 Fire & Rescue, who provided the fire and emergency cover at Biddenden Tractorfest.

Following the Government announcement on Friday, G1 were brilliant in stepping up their efforts. They immediately called an emergency meeting with the committee and brought in additional resources, including extra firefighters and a second bulk water carrier.

Throughout the weekend, they worked closely with us to continually monitor the situation and ensure the most appropriate response was in place should it have been needed.

Thankfully, no fire response was required over the weekend.

A huge thank you to the whole G1 team for their professionalism, reassurance and support. Your presence gave us confidence and peace of mind during what were undoubtedly challenging conditions.

We’re incredibly grateful for everything you did to help keep Biddenden Tractorfest safe. ❤️
