What a great day we had yesterday Showjumping at CCR , the changed venue for Berkeley show this year.

Thank you to CCR for hosting the show.

The jumping was to a very high standard, so thank you competitors for supporting the show, and well done! We hope you had an enjoyable day.

Thanks again to our generous sponsors.

Finally thanks to our CD, judges, collecting ring stewards, caterers, presentation steward and everyone else who helped on the day.

Particular thanks to sarah smith who sorted all the technical stuff/times etc for us.

Berkeley show 2024 will hopefully go ahead in the usual format in the castle meadows on the last Sunday in June 2024.

However I will no longer be organising the equestrian events.

So if you want these to go ahead someone needs to take on the organising
roles.

There are 2 main roles required, one to organise and run BS and one to organise and run all the showing, dressage, unaffiliated SJ etc

The first committee meeting for the 2024 show is on june 23rd at 7.30 at Tortworth shop.

Please go to the meeting if you are up for running or forming a team to run the equine side of the show.

I am sure you are aware by now that the British Showjumping from Berkeley show on JUNE 25th has been moved to CCR Equestrian GL4 0XA.
Great prize money for all classes which run from 1.05m to 1.30m with feature 2 fence challenge class.

ENTRIES now OPEN for Berkeley Show British Showjumping on JUNE 25th

Following the cancellation of Berkeley Show by the Berkeley Agricultural Society we have been able to secure a new venue for the British Showjumping.

This will now be at CCR Equestrian on JUNE 25th. Schedule on BS website.

Unfortunately however, we have been unable to find an alternative venue/date for the rest of the horse classes. So dressage, unaffiliated SJ, showing, RoRs, WH, hunter classes are cancelled for 2023. Hopefully the show will run in 2024.

Oh dear, Berkeley Show committee have decided to cancel 2023 show in its normal format.
However, don’t worry riders, we are looking to still run the horse events, either still in the Berkeley Castle meadow or at an alternative venue.
I’ll keep you updated.

Well, we’re working away at the showing schedule for Berkeley Show on JUNE 25th 2023 and will let you have a list of classes as soon as it’s finalised. There’ll be quite a few changes as a result of competitor feedback from last year.
We have affiliated the show with SWPA, Equifest, Sunshine Tour, RoR and The Veteran Horse Society, so there will be loads of Championships for you to qualify for.
