We’re still grinning from ear to ear reading everyone’s lovely feedback and looking back through photos from the event. Please keep them coming ❤️

It’s great to have captured so many smiles from the riders, volunteers, officials, sponsors, supporters and spectators who made the weekend possible.

A big thank you to everyone who contributed their time, effort and enthusiasm. We hope you enjoy looking back on a few moments from a brilliant week and we look forward to seeing you again next year - the countdown is already on.

It’s been a great weekend of success for Belsay's former youth champions, competing at Bicton in Devon.

🌟 Jago Jackson, who won the Forsters CCI3*-S here at Belsay just two weeks ago, was crowned Young Rider National Champion yesterday, this time with Kinda Brunette. Serious consistency!

🌟 Our 2023 Junior National Champion, Pippa Royle, was runner-up to Jago, less than one penalty separating them.

🌟 Ella Howard claimed the top two spots in the Junior National Championships with Delauney and Marchwood, the same horses that she placed 3rd and 6th in at Belsay last year in the same championship class.

🌟 Annabel Ridgway, our 2025 National Pony Champion completed the junior podium behind Ella.

🌟 Baramona Lass was runner-up in the CCIP2*-L with her new jockey, Florence Jones - our 2023 British Pony Champion and a pony with a very special history here having started her career from her stable at Belsay with organiser Laura's daughter Xanthe.

⭐ Northumberland Challenge Status Update - after leg one: Belsay ⭐

The Northumberland Challenge unites the three international horse trials held in Northumberland at Belsay, Alnwick Ford Equestrian and Burgham International Horse Trials. To be eligible for the bonus prize pots, riders must compete in the same class at each event (with the option to ride different horses).

Current contenders:
⭐ N.I.S Ltd CCI2*-S - Tom McEwen
⭐ An Eventful Life CCI3*-S - Jago Jackson
⭐ Matfen Hall CCI4*-S - Laura Collett Eventing

Entries for Alnwick Ford are now open and close on 3 June – so prize pot hopefuls, get those entries in!

Bonus prize pots:
⭐ £5,000 - Matfen Hall CCI4*-S (win Belsay + Burgham)
⭐ £5,000 - An Eventful Life CCI3*-S (win all three events)

Tapping out of the week after the week that was, with this little number… 🕺🏼

Even at peak Saturday night exhaustion, Laura still had the energy to dance to the brilliant Rock Choir (Belsay programme still in hand, of course!)
