The Countdown is on!

Today, Comhaltas delegates joined partners from Belfast City Council, Ards CCÉ and organisations across the city for a media briefing marking just six weeks until Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2026.

Preparations are well underway as Belfast gets ready to welcome visitors from across Ireland and around the world for what promises to be an unforgettable celebration of Irish traditional music, song and dance.

Visitors are encouraged to plan ahead by visiting fleadhcheoil.ie for the latest event information, travel advice and everything they need to plan their visit.

An Post Honours 75 Years of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann

An Post has unveiled a special commemorative stamp celebrating our role in promoting traditional Irish music, song, dance and culture.

The stamp design created by Designworks Studio features a stylised fiddle reimagined as a patchwork of colour and texture, with each section symbolising the diverse communities, traditions and experiences brought together through Comhaltas.

We are delighted to welcome Mark Redmond back to Scoil Éigse 2026.

An accomplished Uilleann piper from Co. Wexford, Mark has performed on some of the world’s most prestigious stages and has shared his music with audiences across Europe, North America, Asia and beyond.

A highly respected tutor and performer, Mark brings a wealth of experience and expertise to traditional Irish music and continues to inspire musicians through both his teaching and performing work.

Mark will be among the many tutors sharing their knowledge and experience at Scoil Éigse this summer.

Whether you’re arriving by air, ferry, train, bus or car, there are travel options to reach Belfast.

Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann Belfast 2026 official merchandise will be launched at the Ards Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann pre All Ireland Fleadh Fun Day starting at 2pm on Sunday, June 14th at St. Comgall's Parish Centre (27 Brunswick Rd, Bangor, BT20 3DS).

Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann Belfast 2026 T-Shirts and Jerseys will be available to buy on the day, with all merchandise available to order on the website in the coming weeks.
