These photos captures so much joy — and we think that feeling was shared by everyone who joined us for our annual People Playbook All-Star Game. 🏀⭐️
From huge smiles to belly laughs, one standout moment was when a player sank a half-court shot on behalf of a young raffle winner. The prize? £500! It knocked .mcgaharan off his feet - see photo evidence 😂
Thanks to everyone’s generosity, we raised an incredible £5,000 for our charity partner, Children’s Heartbeat Trust.
Here are some highlights by the numbers:
🏀Nearly 30 players (including 13 Irish Internationals) across the three-point shootout, dunk contest, and the All-Star Game
🎟️ A sold-out crowd of nearly 500 people
🎬 A professional livestreaming partner, with almost 2,000 views
🍿 Instagram reels reaching 15K+ and even 20K+ views
But for Tony, and their sister — this was more than a sporting event. It was deeply personal.
We did it in memory of our Mum, who passed away in September 2023. Janet would’ve loved the craic, the family atmosphere, and cheering her son Paddy on as he played.
