We were delighted to welcome Ulster University’s Belfast School of Architecture, who have chosen 101 Donegall Street as a case study for this academic year. Last week, we greeted 25 Master’s students for an on-site visit, and we’re excited to see how their creativity and expertise will engage with the unique challenges and possibilities of a Grade B1 listed church building—exploring how spaces like 101 can be sensitively restored and adapted for modern use.
A huge thank you to Dr. Martina Murphy (Senior Lecturer, Belfast School of Architecture and the Built Environment ) and Graeme Moore (Specialist Conservation Architect, Consarc Design Group ) for their enthusiasm and support. We look forward to seeing how this unfolds over the year ahead as we continue working towards a thoughtful restoration of 101 for the future.
