We are excited to announce that our esteemed crossword compiler (Shabbo) has just had his first "toughie" crossword published today in the Daily Telegraph. He assures us that his promotion to the Premier League of crossword compilers will not stop him from supporting our humble beer festival in the future. He says his fee will double, but for those who know the zero times table, you will realise this will not be a major problem for us.

But before we sign off, HUGE thanks to all our volunteers and everyone else who helped - setting up, behind the bars, in the kitchen, selling you glasses and beer tokens, running festival bar games, managing tech and our website (and live beer list), setting up long before you got here and clearing up every night long after you left and this morning, to Beccles Public Hall and Theatre for hosting us again, to all the breweries who supported us and Green Jack Brewery for the stillage, to the Mayor for opening us, to Anglia Print Ltd for the beer tokens, programmes, flyers and posters, to our sponsor Norton Peskett, to Alan on the door, and to The Generation Gap, Hot Mess and Simon, Mike, Flynn and Jan for entertaining us
