To our dance devotees: we are thrilled to announce the return of BalletBoyz, one of the most celebrated names in contemporary British dance, to Latitude.

Returning to our Waterfront with their landmark 25th anniversary production Still Pointless, BalletBoyz are no strangers to Henham Park, having performed multiple times across the years via our long-standing Sadler’s Wells partnership.

Featuring ten world-class dancers and fusing live performance with film, Still Pointless is a thrilling, irreverent, deeply moving celebration of where the company have been and where they’re going next, and a perfectly Latitude piece of full-circle programming for our 20th edition.

Manchester art-rock quartet Everything Everything will take the coveted Sunday opening slot on our Obelisk Arena this July 💚

The band have grown up alongside the festival: they first appeared in Henham Park over 15 years ago, delivering a standout early-career set that announced them as one of the most distinctive new voices in British guitar music, returning on multiple occasions through the years, most recently to a rapturous BBC Sounds stage in 2019.

Now seven albums deep, they arrive at Latitude in the midst of a landmark year, touring the tenth anniversary of their beloved third album Get to Heaven. Everything Everything are a band whose fearless invention has always felt right at home at Henham, and we are overjoyed to welcome them back for our 20th edition celebrations.

For three decades, Jim Parkyn has quietly been responsible for some of the most beloved characters ever to wobble across British screens. A model maker working in film and animation with Aardman and the BBC since the early nineties, his hands have shaped the likes of Morph, Shaun the Sheep, Wallace and Gromit, and a whole menagerie of Creature Comforts critters. And every summer, he brings that magic to the top of the hill at Latitude, where families queue up for a chance to sit at his table with a lump of clay and make something of their own 🐑

As we celebrate our 20th anniversary this July, we caught up with Jim to talk about the joy of slapstick, the courage it takes for a grown-up to hold clay, and what he’d do if anyone asked him to sculpt this year’s line up in miniature (swipe to see his brilliant model of Dr John Cooper Clarke).

With less than two months to go until we're back in Henham Park, we are excited to be adding 30+ more brilliant names across music, comedy, dance, conversations, theatre and more joining us for our 20th anniversary this July!

🎼Manchester art-rock quartet Everything Everything are announced as very special guests, set to play the coveted Sunday opening slot on our Obelisk Arena to mark their Latitude return.

🎼The Adam Buxton Band will open the Second Stage on Friday. A Latitude regular in every form he's taken, from the podcast tent to the Listening Post, Buxton has become one of the festival's most beloved returning voices.

🎭We are also thrilled to welcome one of the most celebrated names in contemporary British dance back to Henham Park: BalletBoyz return with their landmark 25th anniversary production Still Pointless, a thrilling, irreverent, deeply moving celebration of where the company have been and where they're going next, and a perfectly Latitude piece of full-circle programming for the festival's twentieth.

🎭Circus Zambia & Wake the Beast present Afronauts (preview), a UK debut for one of the most extraordinary new shows on the international circuit, fuses breath-taking acrobatics, theatre, choral music and spectacle into a joyous, defiant celebration of the imagination, courage and audacity of a newly independent Zambia.

🎤The Comedy Arena, by night, becomes a buzzing after-hours playground as the UK's best club nights take centre stage. Massaoke leads the charge with the world's biggest mass sing-along party, while pop sensation Guilty Pleasures invites you to surrender to the joy of feel-good floor-fillers.

🚀A brand-new area also touches down: The Virgin Radio Mothership lands in the woods, an after-hours intergalactic dancefloor that will keep Latitude airborne deep into the night. By day the ship rests among the trees; by night the doors open and some of the most distinctive voices in British radio take the controls.

For two decades, Woodcraft Folk have been a cherished part of life at Latitude, bringing creativity, community and adventure to families gathering in the heart of Henham Park. As Latitude celebrates 20 years, the much-loved local team return once again, continuing a partnership that has become an integral part of the festival’s identity from the very first edition 💚🌿

From knot-tying, fire lighting, tin can lantern making, bead and mask crafting, campfire singing in the woods and ukulele sessions, Woodcraft Folk help young people to learn in ways that are engaging, inclusive and fun.
