Making memories on Sunday 13 Nov 2022 in Davagh Forest Park.

It was great to catch up with so many we often don’t see from year to year. Kids played, people ran & walked. We chatted, ate sandwiches & drank tea and everyone came together in memory of Fergal.

We also raised lots of money for Air Ambulance NI, our total to date is just over £3,200 - just fantastic!!! We’ll leave the Just Giving Page open to Sunday.

The sun shone this morning for such a beautiful run/walk in memory of Fergal.

Thank you to each & everyone who helped & supported us today.

We’ll get some pics up over the next couple of days along with the incredible amount we raised for Air Ambulance NI.

Here is a pic of Damian Kelly handing over £550 this morning from some of his donations raised from the Loch Ness marathon. We will kindly be donating this to Air Ambulance NI as well. Thank you very much Damian & well done!!

Hello everyone,

As most of you know we are not putting on our big run again this year. However, some of Fergal’s friends want to still run the 10 miles in his memory and would like you to join them along with Roisin for a slow easy run on Sunday 13th November at 10.30am in Davagh.

Or if any of you fancy a walk around the beautiful riverside of Davagh why don’t you come and join mummy and me?

We can’t promise the weather, but it will be nice to wrap up in the crisp air and experience the colours, beauty, and stillness around Davagh. We will also have a hot cuppa for you afterwards and a few treats and sure it will be lovely to meet up and have a catch up.

We would also like to give something to Air Ambulance again this year, so if you can please make a donation in the link below. Remember even the smallest gift to charity can make a huge impact.

The face says it all - in his words, it was horrific but what an achievement for Damian Kelly, 3.13 to complete the Loch Ness Marathon & lots of money raised for 3 very deserving charities. Congratulations Damian 👏👏💪 loved seeing Fergal’s 10 miler bandanna 💙🌈 Anyone still wanting to donate, see link in comments below.

Today the running community lost a legend. Oliver McCullough was our chip man at Fergal’s 10 Miler, he was such a great support over the years offering us his expertise & working hard to make sure we had a great event just like his legendary race The Greencastle 5 Miler. We offer our condolences to Oliver’s family, a man who will be greatly missed but his legacy will live on. RIP Oliver.

We would love if you could support Oliver McCullagh the man with the chips & timer at Fergal’s 10 Miler since it started.

Within the past 6 months Oliver was diagnosed with a brain tumour and underwent major surgery in the Royal Victoria Hospital.

In recognition of the outstanding work of Surgeons and all those who cared for Oliver during his recovery he is raising funds for the Neurosurgery/Neurology Department at the RVH.

Thank you all so much for helping us to raise funds for Air Ambulance NI in memory of our brother Fergal. We are truly overwhelmed by everybody's generosity and the support we had for the run in Davagh to mark his birthday. We don't get to give Fergal presents anymore but we know that he would love Air Ambulance NI to get this present, £3,685!! unreal, thank you all.
