The Curzon Centre, Beaconsfield, are looking for Treasurer.

The Curzon Centre (charity number 1145717) are looking for a voluntary treasurer. We are a local charity that manages the community centre of the same name on Maxwell Road. The majority of the accounts are processed on Xero by the office team and this role is oversight of the accounts at a trustee level.

Young Theatre are performing
Romeo, Juliet, Hamlet & Macbeth 16th/17th July at 7:30pm and Saturday 18th July 2:30pm at The Curzon Centre.

Throw Shakespeare’s greatest characters into one impossible meeting, where destinies collide, daggers glint, and famous lines take on wickedly new meanings. Blending original text with cleverly re‑spun dialogue, this play lets legends argue, flirt, scheme and unravel in ways the Bard never dared.

Chiltern Shakespeare Company and Fourways Theatre Company will be performing William Shakespeare’s As You Like It in the beautiful grounds of Hall Barn, Beaconsfield in early June.

We are returning to Pigeon Meadow, in front of the magnificent yew ‘cloud’ hedge for this our 40th year of performing. We have a cast of over 50 actors and musicians to tell the story.

We have a range of ticket prices depending on age and performance. Wheelchairs can be accommodated in our front row (booking essential) and we have suitable toilet facilities.

The site opens at 5:45pm for a 7:45pm performance allowing time for picnicking in the spectacular grounds. Alternatively you can preorder picnics when ordering your tickets. The bar will be available to purchase local beers, soft drinks, wine and prosecco!
