After a couple of the girls working in the kitchen told me they’d heard me on the radio, I have taken courage and finally listened again to the Clare Carter show that BBC Radio Bristol invited me onto, the day before the festival… I am hugely grateful to Clare and her producer for the opportunity. Most of all I’m grateful to Angie Lemon PR for being the key catalyst in making it happen.

We were helped in so many ways by Owain and Sue of the local Priston Music Festival (notably the supplier of the gazebos in the entrance fields, and the carpets in the Piggery!). Did any of you listen to Jem Smith’s WorldBeat show the other day when we were invited on for a chat?

Jem has invited South African singer songwriter Zaria van Jaarsveld who played for us on Friday night to come and play as part of GWS Radio for Glastonbury, Wells & Street’s Open Day. At about midday on Saturday.

Two days to go! Come and see us on Saturday at our studio at Northover Mill, Old Beckery Road, Glastonbury. We will be live all day from 10-6 pm on 107.1 fm or online at www.gws-radio.org.uk with all your presenters, special guests and live music.
