NEW WORKSHOP ANNOUNCEMENT ⚔️🧶

By popular demand, anither workshop for felting has been added. Step into the ancient world of Viking woolcraft with our newly added “The Viking Art of Wet Felting” workshop at Valhalla Viking Festival 2026!

Hosted by Icelandic Wool Art, participants will learn the traditional process of transforming raw wool into a beautiful felted wall hanging to take home. Using wool from their own herd of Icelandic sheep, this hands-on workshop offers a rare chance to experience one of the oldest textile crafts in history.

⚔️ Friday at Valhalla Viking Festival 2025 ⚔️

The first day of the festival is always filled with a special kind of magic.

Old friends reunited, new friendships were forged, music filled the air, stories were shared beneath the trees, feasting halls buzzed with conversation, and the field came alive with the sights and sounds of the Viking Age.

✨ MEET THE STORYTELLERS OF VALHALLA 2026 ✨

Step into the Woodland Temple, take your seat, and let the old tales rise around you…

Across the weekend, our storytellers will bring myths, legends, gods, heroes and great Vikings of the past vividly to life — each with their own voice, style and stories to share.

Joining us for Valhalla Viking Festival 2026 are:

⚔️ Gary Llewellyn — a familiar voice at Valhalla, returning once again to share tales with those gathered beneath the trees.

⚔️ Catherine Chadwick — bringing evocative stories from Norse mythology, Scandinavia, folklore and beyond.

⚔️ Gideon the Old Wyvern — a teller of myths, folklore, strange tales and old-world wonder.

⚔️ Jon Mason — storyteller, folklorist and cultural historian, blending fact, fantasy and folklore from across the ages.

There will be four storytelling performances each day: three sessions in the Woodland Temple at different times throughout the day and evening, plus a special Midnight Storytelling session on the main campsite by the large firepit.

Please note: the Midnight Storytelling session is 18+ only.

Come for the battles, the music and the magic — stay for the stories that keep the old worlds alive.
