Well feeling down today 😞 this would have been the show weekend and although maybe it’s not as sunny as recent days it’s still dry and not windy which is always a big bonus for outdoor shows. With the Country still in lock down due to the virus we feel content we made the right decision to cancel for the safety of everyone and know now that it could not have gone ahead anyway but somehow it doesn’t make it easier. This is a difficult time for everyone and we hope you are all well and safe. We want to take this moment to thank all our would be exhibitors, these exhibitors often rely solely on summer shows to sell there products and promote there business so to loose out on not only mine but many other shows across the country is financially crippling for them so please scroll through our page and follow there pages to show them support. I’m personally trying to stay positive and doing my best to endorse the great outdoors for when it’s safe to get back out there. If you want to join my fb group The Great Outdoors to pick up ideas and chat to other people about related topics then feel free.
So last thing to say really from me, my wife becky and our children Samuel and Samson and Sydney is a great big Thankyou to all of you and to take care but most of when it’s safe to do so remember to Explore, Dream Discover!

It is with a very heavy heart and many sleepless nights that due to the current health situation with the corona virus we are having to cancel The Great Outdoors Show. The decision has not been easy as you can imagine and i hope you can support our decision. All the the emergency services and charity run organisations have had to pull out of the show due to being needed elsewhere, some private exhibitors have pulled out due to their own concerns over health and the event is being held in the grounds of a school which is being closed from Friday, aswell as of course the concerns of the health of all our public attending the event. The government, local council and environmental health have advised against all large gatherings so we have no option other than to cancel. We are truly gutted and heartbroken after 2 years of hard work.
If you have a pre bought ticket purchased through eventbright and would like a refund then please email us at [email protected] before the 18th April 2020 with your ticket order and we will be able to refund the price of the ticket but unfortunately not any booking fee's made by eventbright.
As we are only a husband and wife team and don't have an office full of an admin team, its just me on a laptop, please be patient with us.

Volunteer Marshals Wanted The Great Outdoors Show 2020
If your interested in helping out with general marshaling (car parking, litter picking, setting up/taking down and public point of contact) at this event please inbox us. We are ideally looking for adults and sensible teenagers to volunteer there time over the show weekend. it can be the whole weekend down to just half a day what ever suits you so don't worry if you cant commit to the whole thing. inbox with any questions and we can add you to the volunteer group.

If your into your Bushcraft and survival gear then make sure you visit Adrian and Tammy at there stall for some fantastic products and if you ask kindly they are also brilliant at making all sorts of things from every survivalist must have Para Cord.
