There will be no Draig Beats Festival in 2026.

We’ve decided to have a year off. There may be some smaller, spin off wellbeing offerings coming so keep your eyes peeled.

We’ll miss you all as we LOVE the opportunity that Draig Beats gives to members of our community to showcase their work and creativity.

We love how it brings people of all ages and backgrounds together but we need a rest.
Rest is the revolution.

Draig Beats is a volunteer run festival that happens in order to raise money for our dear friend Dr Sophie Williams and Treborth Botanic Garden. Many people give their time for free to make this happen and we are incredibly grateful to you all.
We’re sorry for any disappointment this may cause but sometimes we just need to take time off

Rydym wedi penderfynu cael blwyddyn i ffwrdd. Efallai y bydd rhai cynigion lles llai, sgil-effeithiol yn dod felly cadwch lygad allan.

Byddwn yn eich colli chi gyd gan ein bod wrth ein bodd â'r cyfle y mae Draig Beats yn ei roi i aelodau ein cymuned arddangos eu gwaith a'u creadigrwydd.

Rydym wrth ein bodd sut mae'n dod â phobl o bob oed a chefndir at ei gilydd ond mae angen gorffwys arnom. Gorffwys yw'r chwyldro.

Gŵyl a redir gan wirfoddolwyr yw Draig Beats sy'n digwydd er mwyn codi a***n i'n ffrind annwyl Dr Sophie Williams a Gardd Fotaneg Treborth. Mae llawer o bobl yn rhoi eu hamser am ddim i wneud i hyn ddigwydd ac rydym yn hynod ddiolchgar i chi gyd.
Mae'n ddrwg gennym am unrhyw siom y gallai hyn ei achosi ond weithiau mae angen i ni gymryd amser i ffwrdd.

Seckou kindly performed for us at the very first Draig Beats festival. Now he's back in the area again with a last minute addition to his UK tour.

Come along to hear the most beautiful Senegalese music performed by a beautiful soul.

Mae 2026 yn nodi 30 mlynedd Seckou Keita yn gwneud cerddoriaeth yn broffesiynol. Bydd y flwyddyn gyffrous hon yn arddangosiad o dalent anhygoel a repertoire helaeth Seckou, gyda sioeau unigryw, gwesteion arbennig a gweithiau newydd.

Mae Seckou Keita yn feistr enwog ar y kora ac yn sefyll fel ffigur amlwg ymhlith cerddorion traddodiadol Affrica. Yn wreiddiol o dde Senegal, mae ei daith o blentyn dawnus i gerddor o fri rhyngwladol wedi bod yn eithriadol. Mae dull arloesol Seckou a’i fedrusrwydd eithriadol yn gwthio ffiniau’r hyn y gall yr offeryn ei gyflawni.

2026 marks Seckou Keita’s 30th year making music professionally. This exciting year will showcase Seckou’s immense talent and repertoire, with exclusive shows, guests and new works.

Seckou Keita is a renowned Kora virtuoso who stands as a luminary amongst African traditional musicians. Hailing from Southern Senegal, his journey from a gifted child to a globally recognised musician has been nothing short of remarkable. Seckou’s innovative approach and exceptional skill constantly pushes the boundaries of what the instrument can achieve.
