I love to crochet and design my own patterns, which I sell online as well as use to teach the attendees at my crochet workshops. I am a vegan and like to be as environmentally friendly as possible so only use cruelty free yarns in my products. I first started to crochet as a hobby when I was between jobs; I loved creating useful and fun items from nothing more than a ball of yarn and a hook. It so

on became an addiction and now I sell accessories, amigurumi and custom orders on Etsy, Our Wee Makers, and in Midtown Makers, Ballymena. I grew up in North Wales and loved the sea and walking in the hills. I have always been creative and enjoyed making pompoms, learning French knitting and taking part in the Welsh arts festival – the Eisteddfod; singing, dancing and reciting poetry. Then I lived in Liverpool with my partner Emma, our 2 cats and my large yarn stash. After 20 years of city life, we packed up and moved to the Northern Irish countryside. I work mostly from home where I can crochet on the sofa and drink tea. I also run classes teaching people to crochet and progress their skills – check events section for workshops.

Took a few days annual leave from the day job and have finally got some new products made 🙌 First one is this booklet containing a collection of my crochet patterns for improvers and advanced beginners. I have spent a year putting this together, so I can't believe I got it finished.

Big thanks to everyone who has attended my workshops over the past couple of years and been my guinea pigs/ pattern testers.

Booklet is available in pdf download form from my website (link in bio) and will be on sale in paper form in Midtown Makers from the 26th May.

It's been a busy week, last Saturday I taught a lovely group to crochet in , Monday evening was my regular crochet class in Cloughmills, where we are making a granny square tote bag. Wednesday evening I had a stall at the marketplace event , met lots of wonderful community leaders and was great to catch up with familiar faces. This morning I was teaching another fab group of ladies to crochet and progress their skills in Midtown Makers.
