Glens Storytelling and Cultural Heritage Group /Glens Storytelling Festival A community storytelling organisation which runs an annual festival to celebrate the rich cultural heritage of the Glens of Antrim.

Due to the Covid-19 restrictions this year's Glens Storytelling Festival organised by Antrim Glens Tourism cannot take place in its normal format as we would not want to compromise the health and safety of our community and visitors. However members of the newly formed Glens Storytelling and Cultural Heritage Group have got together to create a virtual festival with events on each of the four day

s Thursday 1st till Sunday 4th October 2020. This is felt to be essential to hold a space for next year's festival and to remind our listeners of the beauty of the Glens area area and of its rich heritage of storytelling and music. Our local tellers and musicians have recorded stories many of them set in our stunning landscape. We hope supporters will enjoy what we have to offer and that it will encourage them to return for the 2021 Glens Storytelling Festival.

We’re off and running with the festival, starting with an event in Carnlough this morning with Denise Weir.
