THE WAIT IS OVER: REVEALING THE 2026 ARF RACE TEES! 👕🗽✨

​Earlier today we promised a look, and here they are! We caught up with Samuel Wightman, co-owner of our headline sponsor Café Kisa, outside the restaurant on the High Street to officially unveil this year’s technical running t-shirts for the 10K and Half Marathon.

​Carrying our 2026 New York Marathon Major theme, each tee features the iconic Statue of Liberty alongside the historic local 'boroughs' you’ll conquer along each route—from Townhead and Easthill to Tullibardine, Castleton, Kinkell, and Strathallan.

ARF JUNIOR FUN RUN🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏼

Race director Fiona Watt picked up a donation from our local Co-op yesterday along with representatives from the Rotary Club of Auchterarder and District.

One again The Rotary Club has kindly supplied the medals for our Junior Fun Run and along with this donation we're able to continue this free to enter event in 2026 for our local stars of the future!

All kids taking part will get a medal and treat on completion. This event starts at 9.45am on Saturday 12 September and is ALWAYS a highlight of the festival weekend.

4 DAYS TO GO! 🍎🗽

The countdown is getting serious, team! Here are the absolute MUST-KNOW rules and tips to make sure your race is safe, smooth, and unforgettable!

🪪 ID IS ESSENTIAL Registration closes promptly at 10:15 AM. You must bring photo ID (like a driving licence) to collect your race number and timing chip. No ID = no race!

👕 T-Shirt Swap Desk You’ll collect your pre-ordered technical tee at registration. If the fit isn't quite right, head straight to our T-shirt exchange desk and our crew will do their best to get you sorted.

🎧 Strict Headphone Policy Because our event takes place on open roads, standard in-ear or over-ear headphones are strictly banned and carry immediate disqualification. Only bone-conduction headphones are permitted so you can hear traffic and marshal instructions.

🏃‍♂️ Road Rules & Zero-Litter Stay on pavements where available or stick to the left-hand side of the road. We operate a strict ‘leave-no-trace’ policy—carry your gel wrappers with you or drop water bottles only in designated zones after water stops. Let’s keep Perthshire pristine!

​We’re officially in race week, team! The excitement is buzzing like Times Square, but to keep your race morning as smooth as a yellow cab ride, here is your essential logistical checklist:

​🅿️ Parking Like a Pro

Parking is available at the Community School of Auchterarder and on surrounding streets. Space fills fast, so arrive early and please be courteous to our lovely local residents (no blocking driveways!). Carpooling with your running pals gets you bonus points.

​🎒 Baggage Drop

Dropping a bag? You can leave your gear inside the Sports Hub. Please note it’s left at your own risk.

​🚻 Loos & Changing

Changing facilities (including showers) and toilets are available inside the SportsHub, plus we’ve got extra portaloos positioned near the start/finish area so you can conquer those pre-race nervous pitstops with ease.

​💧 Water Stops

Powered by our friends at Highland Spring, water stops are set up to keep you fueled and moving strong:

​10K: 6k mark

​Half Marathon: 3 Mile and 10 Mile marks
