We’re proud to share that MineCycle has been co‑founded by Dom Barraclough and Paul Freeman to raise vital funds in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSH) and to champion the diverse and exciting career opportunities within the mining sector.
MineCycle is an endurance cycle of over 1,100 miles in just 14 days, travelling from Aberdeen to Falmouth along Britain’s “mining spine”. Along the route, Dom and Paul will visit mining operations, suppliers, schools, and colleges, helping to showcase modern mining, the skills it requires, and the wide range of careers it offers, all while raising funds to support the Children’s Cancer Centre build at GOSH.
