Entries for the 2027 Aldi Ashby 20, taking place on Sunday March 14th will open on -
𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟲𝘁𝗵 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝘁 𝟳𝗽𝗺

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗹𝗱𝗶 𝗔𝘀𝗵𝗯𝘆 𝟮𝟬 is about so much more than race day. Thank you to our incredible runners, volunteers and local communities who help make this event a force for good.

𝗪𝗲’𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱:

✨️£800 to Steps Conductive Education Centre
✨️£1,250 to Odyssey Explorer Scouts
✨️£900 to Rotary Club of Ashby Castle
✨️£1,200 via Ashby Spa WI (supporting Inspire Youth Collective, EMAS First Responders, and pancreatic cancer support initiatives)

️Plus ongoing support over the years for Teenage Cancer Trust, and many other good causes including EMICS (East Midlands Immediate Care Scheme).

Our runners also continue to raise thousands more for charities of their own through the event, extending that impact even further.

As a race organised by runners, for runners, we’re proud the Ashby 20 keeps giving back, supporting charities, championing community and proving every mile can make a difference. Thank you for being part of it 🙌

✨️𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝘂𝗹 𝗘𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱✨️ holds special significance within the Ashby 20 community. It was established in memory of Paul Enion, one of the race’s founding members and a passionate runner and triathlete who played a key role in creating the event. Tragically, Paul lost his life in 1992 while training on his bike, having been selected to represent Great Britain at the World Triathlon Championships. His legacy continues through this award, which recognises local runners and celebrates both participation and the strong community spirit that defines the Ashby 20.

This evening we presented the 𝗣𝗮𝘂𝗹 𝗘𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 to the male and female winners. 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 Everyone Active, the award is 12 months membership each. It was a pleasure to, once again, involve the Enion Grand Children.
