What is Ashfest?

Ashfest was started 12 years ago by Neil Davidson in memory of Ashley White as a tribute to his friend and to keeps his memory and love of music alive. Ashfest has had several different venues over the years, but has lately found its home at the Bowling Green Inn where it has gone from strength to strength, so much so that each year more and more people offer their time and expertise in order to make the day as amazing as possible.

Whilst Neil still runs Ashfest each year and is the main person to organise the bands who play on the day all of whom give their time for free. Andy Watts who provides the Marquee and PA system and is on hand through out the day to MC and sound engineer each band. To Paul and Richard of the Bowling Green who help with promotion and advertisement of the event. Last but by no means least the staff of the Bowling Green who during Ashfest have probably their busiest day of the year, and work hard to make the day as enjoyable as possible for all in attendance.
