Two weeks ago we held our 6th Annual Dyb Dob Beer & Cider Festival Fundraiser — and what a fantastic event it was!

Thanks to your incredible support we raised an amazing amount for our Scout Group. These funds help us maintain our hut and facilities while keeping costs as low as possible for parents and carers, ensuring more Young People can join us and develop valuable Skills For Life.

We’d like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who came along and supported us on the day — we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!

A special thank you goes to our generous sponsors, local businesses, and individuals who donated raffle prizes, and to Blurred Mondays for providing another brilliant evening of live music.

We’re also incredibly grateful to everyone who supported the event in any way — sharing our posters, liking our posts, spreading the word, or helping behind the scenes. Every bit of support made a difference.

And finally, a gigantic thank you to our dedicated team of organisers. This event simply wouldn’t happen without your hard work, energy, and commitment — you are amazing! 💚💛

SUP UP SUNDAY! TODAY (15th February)
Opening SUNDAY with 23 beers of varying amounts + 3 ciders left at Hucknall Beer Festival in Hucknall at the John Godber Centre
Everything HALF PRICE = £2.40 a pint
Come join us today (Sunday) 12pm to 3pm and please help drink us dry!
We've a few cheese cobs left but feel free to bring your own picnic and the kettle is on for those not drinking and we've a fully licensed bar too for those who want to enjoy something a little different.
Plenty of commemorative glasses available, this years design is Charles Kempe
There's also a last chance to get your raffle tickets (to be drawn this afternoon around 2pm) for our charity raffle with prizes from local breweries and cider makers
All funds raised from the festival are for the John Godber Centre charity (number 1132272) our community venue in the heart of Hucknall so come help us fundraise by enjoying some great ales and ciders on our final day 🍻

It's TONIGHT!
Come join us for the opening of the 2026 Hucknall Beer Festival
🍻We've over 100 beers and ciders to enjoy
🥙 Greek Food from Alpha gyros
🍷Fully licenced bar with wines, spirits and soft drinks plus hot drinks too
🧀 Our infamous Cheese cobs available from the bar
🎶 We've background music this evening but on Saturday night we've live music from Blurred Mondays
It's going to be a great night come join us and support our fundraising efforts
Doors open from 6pm to the public and 5pm to CAMRA members (with valid membership cards)
Like our venue page John Godber Centre to keep up to date this weekend on all the fun with cheers and beers raising money for our community venue

We’ll be down at the hut between 10 and 12 for anyone who wishes to finish the last of our beer/cider at a big discount!
We have lots of empty 4 pint milk cartons and a couple of other sizes too - feel free to bring your own measurable container down to fill with plenty of beer/cider!
Not sure what’s left at the moment but we will update this post in a little while with what’s left

Just 1️⃣ more day until the doors open for our 6th Dyb Dob Beer and Cider Festival Beer - 07.02.26

For the first time we will have a ‘Brewer’s Dozen’ of beers to enjoy. That’s one for each hour after the yard arm has passed, plus one to get you home! 😁
Yes, there are 13 beers to try, our most ever, not forgetting our 5 ciders.

We will have also have a raffle which will be drawn in the break of the band. Pop down and purchase some tickets to be in with a chance of winning some of our wonderful prizes - some are pictured here 🎟️

Come and join us, we’re looking forward to a great day with you all
