Hamiltonsbawn Sunflower Field We planted some sunflowers and wildflowers and they grew! There will be flowers, teas, bbq, games and good craic!

Come and see them now they are blooming and help as raise money for Air Ambulance Northern Ireland and Hamiltonsbawn Silver Band.

Wishing you all a Happy New Year!

I’m delighted to finally announce that our 2025 sunflower field raised £3000 for Air Ambulance NI. We are so grateful for everyone’s support.

Good Morning!

Sadly the sunflowers have not lasted like we had hoped so we have decided not to open for teas and games this weekend.

There are still some fresh good sunflowers and plenty of wildflowers to be picked but the overall look of the field isn’t as good.

If anyone would like to still visit to walk through and pick flowers the gates are open and secateurs are at the top of the field. Please bring Wellies and drive up the grass of the field rather than the lane.

Thanks to everyone who visited this weekend.

Despite the gloomy weather the flowers are still looking good. The gate is open and there are secateurs and an honesty box at the top of the hill. Feel free to visit whenever you like.

We had planned to have the band playing this afternoon but the high winds will make playing impossible.

We will be there from 2pm with teas and a few games and plenty of sunflowers. Hopefully see you there. Be sure to bring a good coat.

Due to bad weather.
The sunflowers are brightening up this miserable day but it’s definitely a day to stay indoors.
If you are brave enough to venture up here the secateurs and honesty box are in place at the top of the field.

It’s turning into a lovely evening here but it’s very windy.
The kettle and bbq are on and the flowers are looking great.

We will be open again with teas, bbq and games this weekend.
In the meantime if you fancy going to walk through the field and pick some sunflowers there is an honesty box and some secateurs to borrow at the top of the field. The gate is open.
