Less than a month to go until our Village Fete and we are so excited and we have even more fun to announce! 😆
After the success of last years first ever fete held by our committee, we are so excited to be bringing it back bigger and better than ever for 2026. 🎉
Here is a little rundown of just some of what we have planned so far…
🎶 Musician Ryan Gass 🎶
The talented Ryan Gass will be joining us from 2.30-4.30pm and keeping you all entertained outside our Beer Tent, make sure to pop along and get your dancing shoes on!
🎨 Free Children’s Craft Tent 🎨
We are lucky to have members of STABC join us to provide free crafts and activities for children!
🪄 Stu-Di-Doo 🪄
The wonderful Stu-Di-Doo will be joining us once again to put a fantasticly entertaining magic show for you all!
🦎 Kingdom of Creatures 🦎
The amazing Jordan and team will be joining us this year and bringing along some of their creature friends!
🤩 Even better both of these are completely free of charge for you to take part in! 🤩
🎡 Potts Amusements 🎡
All the fun of the Fair as Potts Amusements bring along a range of attractions!
✨ Paints and Sparkles ✨
Make sure to get your face painted or grab a glitter tattoo from the talented Paints and Sparkles team!
🍕 Minidoughs Pizza 🍕
Minisoughs Pizza will be there with some yummy food for you all to grab!
🍦Phil’s Ices🍦
Keep cool with a range of frozen and sweet treats from Phil’s Ices!
🍭 Floss Pop 🍭
We are excited to have Floss Pop joining us, they will be whipping up some amazing candy floss creations to suit all ages!
🍻 Beer Tent 🍻
Stay refreshed with a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks from our fully licensed Beer Tent, amazing prices and plenty of choice to suit all!
🫏 Donkeys 🫏
We are excited to have the lovely donkeys with us once again, make sure to pop along and meet them!
🚒 Fire Engine 🚒
Members of our local fire department will be here so pop along for a go in the fire engine!
🚓 Police 🚓
Our Community Police Officer will be joining us to tell you all about the work they do!
🏍️ D&G Blood Bikes 🏍️
The fantastic team from D&G Blood Bikes will be joining us!
🚗 South of Scotland Veteran and Vintage Club 🚗
We are lucky to have some vintage Cars joining us, make sure to pop along and see their amazing vehicles!
🌿 Nature Weaving 🌿
Malcolm and the team from the SWSEIC will be visiting the Village once again, this time for you all to try your hand at nature weaving!
🎟️ Tombola, Raffle and More 🎟️
Come and try your luck on our fete games, there are some amazing prizes for you to win!
🐥 Lucky Dip and Hook-a-Duck 🐥
Plenty of prizes for little ones too as they can have a go on fun such as hook-a-duck!

Who will take home the trophy as Brydekirk’s top welly wanger for 2026! 😂
😎 Garden Games 😎
Our slip and slide will be back plus lots of games for you to get stuck into!
🖌️ Crafters and Local Produce 🖌️
We hope to welcome back some of our creative locals again, we will be advertising spaces for stalls and vendors soon so keep an eye out!
Plus we are very lucky to have a wonderful play park with a zip wire, slide, swings and plenty more for children to run about on! 🛝
We look forward to welcoming you all to the field on Saturday 12th September, it’s going to be an amazing afternoon! 😁
Vendors and stalls will be a mix of card and cash payments so make sure to bring both along. 👛
