🎃 HALLOWEEN HALF TERM AT INTO THE WILD! 👻🌲

Things are getting a little spookier in the woods this October half term! Expect Halloween props, spooky decorations and Halloween photo spots throughout the woodland, alongside all the usual Wild Play fun.

Some of our props are a little scary, but the Halloween experience is designed to be suitable for all the family. 🎃👻

📅 24th, 25th, 27th, 28th, 29th, 30th & 31st October

🎬 From 2pm we’ll have Monsters, Inc. showing in the tipi — perfect for getting cosy after exploring the woods!
Everything is included with your normal Wild Play ticket — no separate Halloween ticket and no extra charge. Just book your normal Wild Play ticket online for your chosen day.

🕘 Open 9am–4.30pm

🍕 Pizza served 11am–4pm

New to into the wild but not yet complete.. our craft space. Children and parents go forage for items listed in the craft space and then return and get creative with your findings. Spend a good few hr doing this or just go do some doodling listening to some stories on our woodland Yoto player.

We have some special plans for the older kids too but it’s rather ambitious.. but will update if I can get my head around how it will work.

For now we’re excited about the crafting space which adds a calming creative mindful space for children to learn and explore.

Into the wild is closed this Sunday 26th July… and re open Thursday 30th July…. Then it’s every Wednesday through to Sunday until kids return.

Expect pizza every day we are open.. icecream wild play area and mini festival vibes every day!

The reason for being closed is very simple. Small family run business.. part time staff and a couple full time just so happen to alllllllll be off at the same time and there’s diddly squat I can do about it. So we’re having some time out first time in 7yrs haha. I guess it’s only a few days. 4days.

All available dates for wild play are bookable on our website so don’t delay book wild play today.. it can sell out and if we are sold out we don’t allow walk ins 🫢

From 30th July to 31st August we’re open Wednesday to Sunday (plus Bank Holiday Monday) from 9:00am–4:30pm.

🌲 Spend the whole day exploring the woods, building dens, making memories and enjoying hours of outdoor adventure.

Arrive anytime during opening hours and stay all day!

Into the wild at Half term is the perfect place to let your kids release some energy! Parents can also relax in our unique environment..

Pizza will be served Fri to Sun and when there is no pizza Monday to Thursday we will be serving Oak smoked hot dogs. People who book wild play are welcome to bring picnics..

Please do book online as we limit numbers to our woods to ensure a cracking day is had by all.

Pizza will be available this Bank Holiday Monday as an exception.

If you know your kids head down the Bollin to hang out, please remind them not to enter the woods and to stick to the public footpaths.

We’ve had repeated incidents of trespass and damage to our facilities. This is a family woodland space and it needs to be respected.

CCTV is in operation and footage of recent incidents is being shared with the police.

Any further damage will be taken seriously.

It isn’t great that when I’m trying to put my young kids to bed I have to shoot off to deal with some little sh**s making a mess.. please do let them know we are on to this in a serious way.

On Saturday 4th April we start our FREE Dj session evening. First of all the families get a taste early doors 4pm until 6pm!! Then from 6pm until 10pm it’s 18+!!

Insanely talented Dj spins the vinyls and plays a variety of music including Soul, Disco, Funk, House…

On the evening we have full licensed bar with amazing selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks! We have wood fired pizzas! Fire pits! Tipis.. all this is free however on arrival we kindly ask for a donation to help towards.

Dogs on leads welcome 18+ from 6pm. No need to book! Walk to us from Hale. Very easily. Best night there is. Check out our website to see where we are and walking routes. Link in Bio!
