I can officially say that I am heading back to THORPE PARK and Chessington for the first time this year at the end of this month! 🤩

It would have been a whole year since I was last at these two parks, that is far too long. I can’t wait to get back on Hyperia, The Swarm, Nemesis Inferno and Mandrill Mayhem, Dragon’s Fury and Vampire at both parks!

That does mean I’ll finally be going on Stealth after years of seeing it launch to 80mph in 1.8 seconds and heading up its 62.5m (205.1ft) tall top hat. I must say, I am a bit nervous as I’m not the biggest fan of hydraulic launch coasters but I know I do need to do it before it closes (whenever that may be). 🏁

As I’m on the topic of Stealth, is there a coaster that scared you for ages until you eventually rode it or is there one that still does?

On a similar post to yesterday, Hex - The Legend of the Towers is my second favourite dark ride at Alton Towers!

The fact the queue line and preshows are in the Towers themselves makes the ride that one bit better. I know since they updated it with all them new lights, it’s became a bit of a ‘disco’ (as I’ve seen some people say) but it is still a great ride!

What are your thoughts on Alton Towers’ amazing Vekoma Madhouse, Hex - The Legend of the Towers?

Hmm… I don’t even know what to say at this point… 😶

3,000? 1,000 in 4 days? Genuinely insane… my mind is blown.

I started this year with just over 400 followers and now the page is here, it feels so weird to say 3,000. This milestone has been reached mainly due to one reel at the start of this month that has genuinely exploded. I posted an Oblivion reel with the ‘Don’t Look Down’ text and it’s now on 520k views, over 3k reactions and over 1k follows on it alone.

Thank you so much for the support these past few months, I NEVER would have expected this at the start of this year. When I got to 2k, I said onwards and upwards, I guess the same thing applies here!

I was interested in what the differences between the three cycles on Toxicator were so when I went to Alton Towers yesterday, I decided to film both Beta and Gamma from a position where I had filmed the whole of Alpha last year!

It is surprising to see how much less ride time you have on Gamma compared to Beta but I guess that is the point of them both as Gamma is for when the queue is longer.

Which of these three cycles is your favourite?

(I promise this is the last Toxicator post for a little while 😆)

Flight of the Pterosaur is Paultons Park’s Vekoma Suspended Family Coaster!

It opened in 2016 alongside the rest of Lost Kingdom and is the stand out attraction in the area! It has great theming and a good soundtrack to go alongside it!

The Curse at Alton Manor is my favourite dark ride at Alton Towers, it is technically only a family dark ride but it’s still a great ride! 🪾🕷️

It features so much theming, including things you don’t notice on your first few rides! It’s also a great ride for capacity, really getting a queue at all due to how many people it can do per hour.

I never did it as Haunted House or Duel so I can’t compare it to them two. What are your thought on The Curse at Alton Manor? Is it the best dark ride at Alton Towers in your opinion?

Wicker Man is genuinely amazing for a “family thrill” coaster, definitely still my favourite at the park as of now!

I noticed this t-shirt a few days ago when I was last here but didn’t comment on it but I feel like I need to now because of things I’ve seen today.

Yes, the t-shirt is not great, far from it really but is everyone forgetting all the other merch Merlin/Alton Towers released this year because of this one t-shirt. For example the Runaway Mine Train children toy, all the hoodies, all the pins and so much more… complaining about one t-shirt when there’s so much more merch than that.

If they start doing more AI generated merch then fine, then there’s a reason to complain but for one t-shirt…
