🎶 Introducing The Brothers Gillespie 🎶
Described by Folk Radio UK as “weaving an especially compelling magic”, Northumbrian duo The Brothers Gillespie create music that feels both intimate and expansive - songs of soaring sibling harmony, lyrical depth, inspired guitar playing and rich acoustic textures.

Raised among the fells and valleys of Northumberland, brothers James and Sam draw deeply from wild landscapes and the experience of finding soul and meaning in the natural world. Their music carries a rare energy; earthy and ethereal, romantic and radical.

Their live performances have captivated audiences everywhere from campfires and folk clubs, to concert halls and major festivals including Sidmouth and Cambridge Folk Festival. Small lineup update for tomorrow’s Floor Fillers Fundraiser at Alston Town Hall - unfortunately Andy J Fraser & The Tunstallachia Upland Boys can’t make it, so we’re excited to welcome The Busk Rats, who are featuring at Alston Live 2026 - catch a glimpse of what's to come this July! Everything else stays the same, and it's set to be a brilliant night 🥳
